Inventory Control Team Lead
This position's most important aspect is to lead all inventory control processes, including cycle counting, physical inventory, transfers, investigations, and inventory adjustment requests.
As an Inventory Control Lead, you will oversee assigned responsibilities, such as executing quality routines, functions, and research. You will be responsible for identifying the root causes of quality defects within the operation and analyzing the site’s operating methods and procedures to identify gaps in inventory control and total quality. You will lead improvements within bin and location accuracy, order cancels, and other quality indicators identified through process audits. As the inventory team lead for a distribution site, you will determine the appropriate methods and problem-solving tools to use and implement new practices/procedures.

Essential Duties & Job Functions:
- Receives verbal instructions from the manager.
- Organize stocks and maintain inventory.
- Organize warehouse space.
- Replenishment of product from storage locations to pick locations.
- Inspect products for defects and damage.
- Perform cycle counts of inventory locations weekly.
- Create and run various reports, including the stock status of products, backorder and replenishment reports, and end-of-day reports.
- Ensure accuracy is maintained, and all inventory is routed and put away daily.
- Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize warehousing procedures. Inventory, re-stock, and manage sufficient inventory levels in designated areas according to calculated PAR levels.

- Ensure all inventory is placed with accuracy in bins and racks, identifying parts and stored locations.
- The Inventory Lead works in the Operations department. It is responsible for ensuring all inventory is moved through the correct routes and put away as it comes in and out of the distribution center.
- Manage storage locations to ensure space is always available to receive inventory from Production.
- Manage building supply inventory weekly and notify the Manager when replenishment orders are needed.
- Publish weekly inventory metrics.
- This position reports to the Warehouse Manager.
