The Opportunity
Pillar4 Media is seeking a Social & Video Content Associate to join our fast-growing team.As the Social & Video Content Associate, you will be the on-screen co-host alongside the Lead Reviewer on the Sleepopolis video team to produce video content of the most popular mattresses and sleep products available on the market. These videos will be posted on the Sleepopolis website as well as on the Sleepopolis YouTube channel and other select platforms (YouTube Shorts, TikTok and Instagram Reels.) You’ll also be responsible for assisting the Lead Reviewer in testing and evaluating sleep and bedding products using our proven methodology, and then analyzing and summarizing your insights in the form of long-form and short-form product review videos.
You’ll collaborate with the video, editorial, SEO, and social teams to help build brand awareness and credibility for Sleepopolis.
What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting to the Senior Video Producer, the Social & Video Content Associate will:
- Serve as the secondary on video talent for Sleepopolis – work with video, SEO and editorial teams to identify winning opportunities for content creation and measured experiments; establish a regular feedback loop with video analytics team to maintain a pulse on what’s working and what needs improvement
- Video content will include mattress reviews, new bedding accessory or sleep product reviews, interviews with sleep industry experts, brand partner or influencers, on-set tours such as mattress manufacturing facilities, industry events, and more
- Both long form and short-form videos (TikTok, YT Shorts, IG Reels) may be part of the video strategy
- Pitch and produce video content that demonstrates a high level of expertise in video production
- Be creative and able to work with subject matter experts to turn ideas into compelling scripts that are shared through video
- Superior time management and organizational skills are key in order to meet our goals
- Ability to tackle multiple creative projects simultaneously.
- Communicate cross functionally with different levels and brands within the organization
What You Bring
- At least 3-5 years of on-camera experience
- Proven experience in creating engaging content on different platforms specifically YouTube
- Intermediate knowledge of popular social media platforms
- Knowledge of social media trends, hashtags, and engagement strategy
- Ability to incorporate our brand voice and identity in digital content
- Possess strong script writing and verbal communication skills
