Financial Systems Administrator

Located in Charlotte, NC, CCI’s subsidiaries operate in Buffalo, NY, Naperville, IL, Salt Lake City, UT, West Hartford, CT and Hamilton ON.The Financial Systems Administrator is responsible for the operational ownership of software applications within accounting and finance departments and act as subject-matter expert for system-integration efforts in a growing Commercial Equipment Finance business.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate testing, deployment, and maintenance of financial systems which includes travel to company offices.
- Maintain chart of accounts for multiple entities and mapping of financial reports.
- Manage various interfaces with the general ledger system.
- Department liaison on company-wide projects.
- Review and manage automated reports.
- Work with IT to adapt existing reports or develop new reports to incorporate new scenarios.
- Ensure completeness of balance sheet reconciliations by utilizing accounting software workflows.
- Explore opportunities within current systems to facilitate efficiencies.
- Manage annual business review of SOC1 reports.
- Act as company interface with external IT auditors.
- Assist with internal audit requests, where relevant.
- Assist with annual audit, as necessary.
- Other projects as assigned.
Desired Skills:
- Thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles compliant with PCAOB standards.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP and Management Reporter.
- Strong technical writing skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment.
- Knowledge of Aspire, Great Plains, Management Reporter and/or Kyriba.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, or Information Systems.
- GAAP accounting and exposure to PCAOB requirements.
- CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of accounting/finance experience a plus.
