 Charlotte Mechanical is seeking an experienced Gas Piping supervisor and a working Foreman for the Charlotte, NC area.  Requirements

  • Able to train and supervise others
  • Installation of Gas Lines and fittings for Natural Gas and Propane
  • Ability to install black pipe, CSST and Trac pipe
  • Exceptional Safety knowledge of tools, testing devices and surroundings
  • General knowledge in all HVAC systems
  • Understand and apply NC gas codes
  • Ability to properly connect gas lines to fire places, outdoor grills, kitchen appliances, generators and other natural gas appliances
  • Ability to install gas piping for related equipment according to manufacturer’s specifications
  • Must be able to read Blueprints and Gas Plans

The individual must have good communication skills. Must be able to adapt to changes in the work environment; manage unexpected changes and/or situations. Must be able to follow instructions; respond to management direction. Must be able to complete tasks in a timely manner.The individual is frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must regularly lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Must be willing to work in an environment where they will be exposed to uncomfortable temperatures(hot/cold).

Must be willing/able go on overnight trips if needed.
