About the role
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our dynamic team in New York City, NY or Austin, TX. As a key contributor, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing our platforms, including our internal billing platform and OneVerify, our flagship customer-facing platform. You will work closely with our product team to understand user feedback, prioritize tasks, and translate requirements into technical designs. Your strong product mindset and ability to both work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams will be key to your success in this role.Location: NYC or Austin, TX (In office 3 days per week)
What you’ll do
Develop and maintain scalable, robust and high-quality software solutions.
Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code across the full stack (Node.js, React, TypeScript, etc.).
Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders (including internal users) to understand user needs, prioritize and translate into technical requirements.
Lead feature development, from conception to deployment, ensuring a responsive and intuitive user experience.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and improvements.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring the reliability of our services.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and data privacy laws.
Lead and participate in code reviews and architecture discussions to maintain code quality, readability, and adherence to best practices.
Contribute to the evolution of our engineering processes and practices to improve efficiency and productivity.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
What we're seeking
Minimum qualifications:
5+ years of experience in full stack development, with a strong focus on both backend and frontend technologies.
Proficiency in Node.js, React, TypeScript.
Experience with frontend technologies and a strong understanding of UI/UX principles.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and microservices architecture.
Ability to work independently and lead projects with minimal supervision.
Strong collaboration skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Preferred qualifications:
Previous Tech Lead experience with a proven track record of translating user feedback into successful technical solutions.
A passion for mental health and fintech innovation is a plus.

The base salary range for this role’s listed level is currently for residents of listed locations only. Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data.
