ROLE OVERVIEW


As a Social Media Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in amplifying our voice and expanding our digital footprint across various social media platforms. You'll bring our brand to life, engaging with our audience in meaningful ways and driving forward our mission to turn world-class apps into world-class businesses.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Craft and execute social media strategies across multiple applications within the Appex portfolio that engage our diverse audiences and support our overall marketing goals.

  • Define clear success metrics for social media initiatives and implement robust tracking and analysis methods to continuously measure performance against key objectives, ensuring strategic alignment and data-driven decision-making.

  • Directly manage a diverse team of social media managers and content creators, providing leadership, mentorship, and performance evaluations to foster a high-performing team environment.

  • Develop and manage a content calendar that aligns with product launches, marketing moments, and industry trends, ensuring a steady stream of fresh and engaging content across all major platforms.

  • Spearhead community management efforts by engaging with followers and cultivating an active community around our brands.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product development, marketing, and customer support—to create and disseminate content that resonates with our target audience and drives engagement.

  • Stay ahead of social media trends and best practices, continuously seeking innovative ways to connect with our audience and amplify our brand’s message.

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS



  • A strategic thinker with 5+ years of experience in social media management and brand building, preferably in the mobile application space.

  • Has experience managing brands within a startup environment.

  • Has experience directly managing a team of individual contributors.

  • Has deep experience in creating content for and fostering communities in Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.

  • Proficient in using social media management tools and analytics platforms to monitor engagement and track performance.

  • A creative storyteller with exceptional creative and copywriting skills and a knack for crafting content that engages and inspires.

  • Experienced in video and photo editing, with a keen eye for visual storytelling and an understanding of digital media formats.

  • Comfortable navigating a fast-paced, growth-focused environment, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

  • A collaborative team player with excellent communication skills, capable of working cross-functionally to achieve shared goals.
