About the role:
As an Engineering Manager at Contextual AI, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and deployment of state-of-the-art AI driven products and solutions. You will lead a team of talented engineers to deliver AI projects, from concept to deployment. Your expertise in AI algorithms, software engineering, and product development will be instrumental in driving innovation and delivering value to our customers.
What you’ll do:
- Provide technical guidance and leadership to the AI product engineering team, ensuring the development of high-quality, scalable, and efficient solutions with high standards.
- Build and lead a team of AI engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Mentor team members, facilitate skill development, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle of AI projects, from conceptualization to deployment, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and other stakeholders to define product goals and requirements.
- Work closely with the research team to integrate AI models into Contextual AI’s products and solutions.
What we’re seeking:
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an AI Engineering Manager with a focus on development or deployment of AI-powered products.
- Strong programming skills in languages and frameworks such as Python, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
- In-depth understanding of natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning techniques.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Location: Mountain View, CASalary Range for California Based Applicants: $200,000 - $400,000 + equity + benefits (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law).
