About the Role:
As the Deep Learning Engineering Manager, you will lead our talented research team in the continuous development and innovation of our voice technology. This pivotal role involves strategic oversight and hands-on leadership, ensuring that our research aligns with and propels our product vision forward.
What You’ll Do:
Lead and Grow the Team: Manage and expand a team of deep learning researchers and engineers, fostering an environment of innovation and high performance.
Strategic Planning: Develop technical roadmaps in collaboration with Product Management, Data Science, Product Engineering, and Design teams. Ensure alignment with the broader product and company vision.
Project Leadership: Oversee the conception, development, and implementation of projects. Maintain hands-on involvement in the construction of machine learning components.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other leaders across the organization to leverage machine learning capabilities to drive business impact.
Mentorship: Mentor and support the development of team members, enhancing their skills and career progression.
Responsibilities:
Innovate and implement advanced deep learning models for voice AI, focusing on GANs, LLMs, and Diffusion Modelling.
Lead the integration of the latest advancements in deep learning and voice AI into our projects and products.
Maintain a high standard of quality and innovation in developing voice synthesis and manipulation technologies.
Drive the strategic direction of the research team, ensuring projects align with business goals and technology trends.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a leader in a deep learning environment, preferably in voice AI or related fields.
Expert knowledge of deep learning, machine learning fundamentals, and model implementation using PyTorch.
Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with software development best practices.
Excellent strategic thinking, with the ability to lead teams and projects to successful outcomes.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working collaboratively across diverse teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with a specialization in Deep Learning or Voice AI.
Demonstrated record of innovation in natural language processing (NLP) and voice synthesis.
Experience with other deep learning frameworks and technologies, such as TensorFlow or Keras.
Publications in reputable journals or active engagement in relevant scientific communities.
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and distributed computing.
