CoverForce is an API-first insurance technology developer that integrates with multiple top insurance companies (Nationwide, Liberty Mutual, Travelers, Chubb, etc.) with the goal of reducing the time it takes to quote, compare and buy insurance policies. Our proprietary technology enables insurance agents to reduce paper submissions and cut the time spent on a single insurance policy by 60%+.We have two core products:
A Quote and Bind Platform: Used by insurance agents (specifically Wholesalers/Agency Networks) in the US for business insurance. Agents can generate quotes and buy them with a single click. Enables agents to compare quotes across companies while eliminating the need to fill multiple forms.
Embedded commercial Product: Enables the public use of the API powering our webapp. This will enable corporations like Walmart, Gusto (payroll software), Uber, etc. to sell business insurance through their websites/platforms. The API will also enable other Agency Systems to build quote and binding features on their softwares.Our mission is to strengthen agents and drive innovation in the insurance industry by increasing the ability for insurance to be accessed and purchased online.At the end of the day we want to be the centralized pipe to access all business insurance across multiple insurance companies. Whether that is through our website or API - it does not matter. Just that we are the centralized pipes. Similar to Plaid for banking.
Job Description
We are seeking a versatile Founding Marketing Manager with exceptional technical skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a well-rounded marketing skill set, capable of handling various tasks ranging from email marketing and social media to website optimization. This role requires a creative, analytical thinker with hands-on experience in executing marketing strategy, an understanding of SaaS marketing, and the financial services industry.
What You’ll Do
Develop a deep understanding of the marketplace and universe of customer and personas, their needs and painpoints, and what/how solutions will match those pain points
Determine the best combination of product positioning, pricing, message, and channel to target specific personas, accounts, and segments.
Develop a comprehensive marketing strategy and plan, in collaboration with product, demand gen, and sales, to reach and win those personas, ensuring consistency of messaging across all surfaces.
Drive sales enablement; create strategy and artifacts to help sales win accounts and knows how to engage sales to do so effectively.
Drive content marketing; create and execute a content strategy (in partnership with demand gen and product teams) that will drive awareness and demand. This includes webinars and other thought leadership content.
Drive ecosystem/community engagement that results in advocates/evangelists, as well as word of mouth demand.
Drive customer advocacy (e.g., case studies, testimonials, peer reviews, customer advisory board) and referrals.
Strategically use thought leadership content, AR, and PR to amplify the company’s unique point of view to drive awareness and leadership position.
What We’re Looking For
3+ years of experience in a marketing manager role within the SaaS / Startup
Proficiency in CRM / Design tools (HubSpot, Figma, and Webflow, etc.)
A strong data-driven approach to marketing
Strong experience in email marketing, social media marketing, and advertising.
Demonstrated ability in website design and optimization.
Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Self-driven and accustomed to the start-up environment.
CoverForce's HQ is in NYC and for this role, we prefer candidates based in NYC tri-state area.
