Fennel's primary product is realtime feature engineering platform which helps data scientists and ML engineers ship ML systems to production. Despite being so young, Fennel is post-PMF, already has paying enterprises as customers, and is growing rapidly.
About the Role
We're looking for a talented and ambitious SDR who can prospect and qualify new customers for Fennel and work closely with an Account Executive. In this role, you’d be tasked with building a rich top-of-funnel sales pipeline of machine learning / data science leaders at high growth venture backed companies for enterprise level ACVs. You will also have the opportunity to help shape company wide sales processes. In the beginning, you’d be focussing on India/APAC region but may later get the opportunity later to focus on other regions/geographies.We believe in promotion from within and transparency on career paths that allow you to grow in your sales profession.
And this is a mission critical role - you will work directly with the company CEO on regular basis and have a say in the overall company strategy. There’s a huge opportunity to have a large impact on the sales motion for Fennel and as an early employee, you’ll be at the center of it.
What you will do
Identify prospective customers, reach out to them, qualify them and begin their journey with Fennel’s sales process
Reaching out via phone/email/social media to connect with prospective buyers - cold call addicts preferred
Become an expert on Fennel, answer questions about the product
Conducting secondary research into company financials, line of business, technology requirements, etc., to personalize prospecting efforts
Staying up to date with the latest in AI/Data infra industry trends & best practices so as to be able to handle objections and position Fennel against competition
Diligently update CRM to stay current and accurate on leads and follow-ups
Work with founders, AEs andMarketing in both narrowing down the ICP & identifying new markets to sell into
What we’re looking for
1+ years of experience with an outbound SDR role in B2B sector.
Track record of carrying and consistently exceeding pipeline generation goals
Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving and analytical skills
Excellent at building relationships with prospects and customers
Tech Savvy: Past Experience using CRM applications like Salesforce, Zoominfo, Outreach for Lead Management, pipeline tracking and prospecting
Ability to operate in a chaotic & unstructured environment of early stage startups
Bonus points
Experience of working at very early stage startups (Seed to series B)
Experience selling ML and/or other technically complex data products or services

Notes
This is a remote role. You can work from anywhere in India as long as you have a good internet connection.
This role requires you to be available for two hours at India night times (between 9-11pm) to be able to coordinate with the US teams.
Compensation:INR 900000-1200000
