About the Role
As a Software Engineer at EngineEars, you will have the ability to leverage existing knowledge about modern development frameworks to build the foundation across our software stack! As a near-founding member of the team, you will not only have ownership and shape the architecture and structure of the product, but you will help build the foundation of the engineering culture at the company. We’re looking for engineers with strong knowledge and experiences - it can be in infrastructure, full stack for web apps or database engineering.Today, we've processed $2,500,000+ in projects booked on the platform and we're on pace to fundamentally change the way creatives make music.

What you'll do
🎨 Frontend: You enjoy thinking about performance and prefer to rigorously test both your logic and components. You are a pro with React and working with Typescript and feel comfortable turning a design into a functional and polished UI.
🖼️ Backend: You are familiar with SQL Databases and have strong understanding of API design. You are very comfortable with Django (Python) or can become comfortable with it quickly.
👯 Talk to customers: Like every team member of EngineEars, you will have the opportunity to understand who you're serving. You may form close relationships with music creatives to deeply understand their wants and needs. You may also work through some of the manual problems music creatives face directly.

What you’ll bring day 1
Degree in Computer Science, Math, or related fields
3+ years of experience working as a software engineer working across the stack outside of education and internships
Experience with relational databases in your previous work
Foundational knowledge in data structures, algorithms and architectural design with analytical and debugging skills
Strong knowledge of TypeScript and Python
Working knowledge of git
Effective interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
Extremely effective problem solving skills
Technical curiosity and a drive to learn new things
Passion for music

Musical background or previous work with music
Programming using Django Rest Framework

Compensation:
Base Salary - $110,000 - $180,000
Additional Compensation - Equity Package
