Position Overview:
On behalf of our partner agency, we are seeking a Sales Development Representative with a hunter mentality, driven to acquire new business. In this role, you will primarily focus on expanding the client base within the engineering sector, leveraging your ability to build deep and lasting connections along with your deep knowledge of recruitment or engineering space. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their growth, ensuring their clients receive exceptional talent solutions while driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
Identify and target potential clients within the engineering sector.
Proactively prospect new business opportunities through cold calls, networking, and industry events.
Create and execute strategic business development plans to meet and exceed sales targets.
Technical Expertise:
Possess a deep understanding of engineering firms and the roles those companies hire for, whether engineering-related or non-engineering roles such as HR, Marketing, and Sales.
Collaborate with internal recruiters and sourcers to identify the best-fit candidates for client requirements.
Contract Negotiation:
Negotiate contract terms and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring win-win solutions.
Sales Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and report on progress regularly to management.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and successful placements.
Share market insights and client feedback to enhance recruitment processes.
Qualifications:
Proven track record of successfully acquiring new clients in the recruitment or engineering sector.
Strong understanding of engineering roles, skills, and industry trends.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated with a hunter mentality and a results-driven mindset.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Experience in a recruiting agency or similar role is a plus.
