Our client is a dynamic podcast/radio company creating engaging audio content and innovative streaming experiences. We're looking for a talented Golang Engineer to join their growing team and play a key role in building and maintaining our next-generation audio streaming platform.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable and reliable backend services using Golang.
Implement APIs to handle user authentication, content management, and data streaming.
Develop and integrate microservices for functionalities like playback, recommendations, and analytics.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, design, operations) to deliver high-quality features.
Monitor and optimize system performance to ensure a smooth and responsive user experience.
Stay up-to-date on the latest Golang trends and technologies.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Golang Engineer with a strong understanding of the language's concurrency features and standard libraries.
Experience with building APIs and backend services for web applications.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
Experience with databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.) and caching technologies (Redis, Memcached).
Experience with infrastructure automation tools is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Bonus Points
Experience with audio streaming technologies or protocols.
Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
