Position Overview:


We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Hardware Documentation Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for meticulously reviewing and answering questions related to hardware documentation, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and completeness.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Annotation: Label hardware documentation, including but not limited to datasheets, technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams, with precise and relevant information.
  • Quality Assurance: Verify the accuracy of annotations against the source documents and ensure adherence to established standards and guidelines.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with technical writers, engineers, and other team members to clarify ambiguities, resolve discrepancies, and improve documentation quality.
  • Documentation Enhancement: Identify opportunities for enhancing documentation clarity, organization, and usability, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Documentation Maintenance: Assist in maintaining a repository of annotated hardware documentation, ensuring it remains up-to-date and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Feedback and Iteration: Provide constructive feedback on documentation processes, tools, and templates to streamline annotation workflows and improve efficiency.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Proven experience in technical documentation annotation or annotation, preferably in the hardware, camera or semiconductor industry.
  • Strong understanding of hardware components, architectures, and systems.
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical specifications, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy while working with complex technical information.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively interact with cross-functional teams.
