501352 Senior Earned Value Management (EVM) Analyst
Work Location: Huntsville, AL Schedule: Full Time Relocation: Negotiable IronMountain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Senior Earned Value Management (EVM) Analyst to provide advice and assistance to Army aviation customers on Redstone Arsenal. This position will be located in Huntsville, AL. The candidate will be responsible for the essential functions listed below and must display the competencies as described in order to complete those essential functions. As an EVM Analyst, you will be supporting the U.S Army across a portfolio of critical programs by analyzing the actual vs planned performance of different projects, identifying performance trends, and ensuring program risks/opportunities are accurately accounted for to predict the final project budget and completion date.
Education and General Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in math, business/economics, finance, accounting, or statistics field preferred.
- Possess 10+ years of relevant experience in project management, earned value management, and/or financial management.
- Demonstrated working experience in EVMS reporting / analysis.
- Experience leading and supporting Compliance Analysis, Performance Analysis, Predictability Analysis, Integrated Baseline Reviews, and EVM specific training.
- Knowledge of EIA 748 compliant Earned Value Management definitions, calculations, and processes.
- Demonstrated experience with the following software tools Deltek Cobra, wInsight, and Microsoft Project.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Level Security Clearance
Job Duties:
- Work closely with Government Program Office teams and contractors to assess EVM information for compliance and performance to program baselines
- Analyze cost, schedule, and risk including Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB), variance, trend, EVM and schedule health metrics
- Assist the government customers in the analysis of Over Target Baseline, Over Target Schedule, Major Contract Baseline Modifications
- Participate and lead in Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) activities
- Prepare briefings, management plans, and technical reports
- Produce, Update, and Maintain monthly Performance Reports to monitor progress according to Earned Value Management Standards.
- Analyze and validate all EVMS and performance data (weekly / monthly) to generate meaningful metrics to assist the Program Office.
- Create graphs and charts used in presentations to the government or internal program reviews.
- Works with the production trades to monitor performance and establish process improvement plans for areas where improvement opportunities exist.
- Provide Earned Value Management training to Project Leads
- Provide detailed Variance Analyses
- Support any required formal reviews or meetings with government EVMS representatives.
- Provide support and analysis at Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR)
- Provide support and analysis at Production Readiness Reviews (PRR)
- Attend and provide monthly progress analysis documentation at review meetings
- Assisting in the generation of reports that are required or support the EVMS program.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.
