This position is
on-site, located in Huntsville, AL.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following tasks:
- Agile software development in small, fast-paced groups
- Development duties include full software life-cycle tasks: requirements analysis, design, development, testing, and integration
Essential job skills include:
- Strong knowledge and experience with software engineering concepts and development methods
- Strong communication skills
- Proven experience with
- SW languages – an OOP language such as C#/Java
- SW development tools – git, Visual Studio, Azure DevOps or similar
- SW development methods – Scrum, CI/CD
- Docker, containerized software delivery
- Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail
- Work independently with minimal supervision
Desired skills:
- Experience developing software as microservices and/or service-oriented systems
- Experience with SQL, Entity Framework
- Experience building .NET Web APIs
- Experience implementing knowledge-based systems, genetic algorithms, or other provided AI solutions
General Requirements:
- 10+ years of related experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- US Citizenship required
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering
