Technical Product Manager, Payments Platform-Data Technology


Duties:


 Play a key role in defining and building payments platform product that enable payments data as a strategic asset. Lead development of new payment operations process, merchant onboarding, third party payment integrations, data reporting and analytics. Take a data-driven approach to defining product strategic objectives, identifying new product enhancements, payment integrations, and opportunity areas to build and prioritize the product roadmap. Collaborate with the VP of Product to develop a long range product vision and the product strategy to deliver that vision.

Participate in cross-functional teams (e.g. Product, Sales, Support, Client Implementations) and customer collaborations to understand stakeholder requirements and create a sustainable and scalable product roadmap. Collaborate with Product Owners, Payment Operations, UX, Architecture, Engineers, Finance, Sales and other relevant internal stakeholders to define the product feature feasibility, allocate resources, perform quarterly planning of the work and prioritize the deliverables based on the product roadmap. Work under Agile Software Development Lifecycle frame and surface and help resolve any barriers or obstacles to deliver capabilities on time and budget.

Proactively communicate situations and proposed solutions to leadership. Leverage working knowledge of Passport’s processes, technical systems, products and customer requirements in influencing and making data-based business and product decisions. Participate in Product Management Guild and recommend changes to Passport processes to improve product decision making. Act as the team’s payments platform data expert, providing high quality, reliable data, reports and analytics. Responsible for maintaining competitive info and industry trends, including working with product marketing to ensure that info is disseminated to internal stakeholders, e.g. sales, and using that info to inform product strategy.

Requirements:


 Bachelor’s Degree (or foreign equivalent) Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field with 3 years’ experience working with a parking & transportation industry within a mobile payment supported technology environment, with a track record of successfully delivering complex software systems or services. Must have 2 years of experience specifically in the Payment Gateway / Card Payments / Financial Services space. Experience must include: Creating mapping documents / writing pseudo code to map to specifications of acquirer processor (like, Cybersource, Worldpay, and others); Various payment methods like credit card, ACH, alternate payments like Google Pay, Apple Pay, and others; major card networks like Visa, Master, Amex, and others, and payment lifecycle (Auth, Clear, Settle, Chargeback); Payment messages such as ISO 8583, APACS, and others; 3DSecure (Verified by Visa, Mastercard SecureCode, American Express, JCB Secure, and others; Different transaction types such as Card Present, Card Not Present and their reconciliation process; Technical experience in Data technologies (SQL), API (SOAP & Rest), and Web Development; Data Visualization and Analytic tools such as Looker, Tableau; Developing roadmaps, coordinating/prioritizing conflicting requirements in a fast paced, ever changing environment; Working in an agile environment.
