Job Description: Senior Legal Operations Specialist
About the Role:The Senior Legal Operations Specialist is a critical member of Passport’s Legal team, playing a vital role in driving efficient contracting and ensuring successful client onboarding Reporting to the General Counsel, you will manage the entire Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) process from initial request to post-sale execution. . You'll collaborate closely with Sales, Client Success, Legal, Finance, and Product teams to ensure contracts meet all operational, financial, and legal requirements.
As the Senior Legal Operations Specialist, you will own the legal team dashboard of all pending projects and will create processes and practices to improve the day-to-day efficiency and effectiveness of the legal team. Responsibilities:
Own the contracting process from initial request to sales booking
Partner with Sales and Client Success teams on contract strategy and structure to profitably win new business and secure renewals
Generate legally binding agreements between Passport and clients utilizing templates, Salesforce.com, and the CLM platform (Ironclad)
Analyze contract information by performing due diligence on current & proposed pricing, terms, fees, and deliverables
Collaborate seamlessly with internal stakeholders throughout the contract lifecycle, from creation to final revisions
Utilize Salesforce.com to manage contract details, deliverables, and track project progress
Analyze contract fees and determine incremental annual and total term amounts
Utilize Salesforce.com and contract management technology to ensure accurate accounting of all executed contracts
Ensure all fully executed contracts are distributed to and processed with applicable internal stakeholders (i.e., Finance, Revenue Operations, Proposal Operations, Legal)
Maintain accurate and complete retention of executed selling org contracts within Salesforce.com and contract management technology
Utilize Salesforce.com to organize workload and ensure timely delivery of projects & tasks
Identify and implement process improvements to optimize the overall contracting experience
Ensure clear & concise communication with all stakeholders
Champion special projects to support overall legal team goals
Develop insightful dashboards for real-time visibility into legal projects
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in legal or business operations
5+ years of experience supporting legal operations for B2B SaaS, GovTech preferred
Expertise with overseeing and managing CLM platforms, Ironclad preferred.
Proficiency in G-Suite and/or Microsoft Office skills
Experience with Salesforce.com, Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ) technology a plus
Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills
Meticulous attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
Exceptional organizational and prioritization skills
Experience partnering with multiple stakeholders through complex RFP processes
Proven ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, working effectively with colleagues, clients, and management across diverse functions
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
