We are pleased to announce the opening for a PNT Engineer, who will join our Positioning, Navigation, and Timing Team in Huntsville, Alabamaand become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, biotechnology, and space control marketspaces. You will be part of a team known for performing innovative PNT-related research as well as accelerating the development of PNT prototypes through simulation and testing.
Responsibilities:
- You will be a key contributor to the development and operation of a testbed for alternative position, navigation, and timing technologies in support of the United States Space Force.
- You will participate in the procurement, setup, integration, operation, and maintenance of PNT testing and simulation equipment and infrastructure as needed to meet the customer’s current and future goals.
- You will design and execute test plans, perform analysis of test results (building additional analysis tools when required), and create technical reports to document and communicate key results to stakeholders.
- You will be expected to demonstrate innovative application of technical skills to solve challenging problems and serve as a source of professional and technical knowledge accumulated through experience.
- You will conduct investigations and tests of considerable complexity, recommend corrections in technical applications and analysis, evaluate vendor capabilities to provide required products or services, and provide technical consultation to stakeholders.
Basic Qualifications:
- You must have a Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and 2 years of experience or a Master’s degree and 0 years of experience.
- You must possess or can obtain an active Secret clearance.
- You must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in an engineering field.
- Experience designing and performing test and evaluation with PNT and GPS systems.
- Experience performing engineering test and analysis with Python tools.
- Experience with RF test equipment including spectrum analyzers and software defined radios.
- Experience implementing software interfaces to hardware to enable communication and automation of test equipment.
- Experience designing and conducting experiments using radio frequency devices and instrumentation.
- Experience with developing, testing, and analyzing alternative position, navigation or timing technologies.
- Experience implementing and evaluating machine learning models, such as convolutional neural networks, for performing classification tasks.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
