GaN is seeking an
Entry Level Software Quality Assurance Technician. Responsibilities will consist of supporting software development teams to ensure that work product are quality and free of errors before release. Day-to-day duties will include testing and reporting on bugs found in software. The candidate will be able to provide reports to project leadership on the health of the software, as well as providing bug reports to the software team. The candidate will also help support the quality of user manuals and training materials.
- Work with developers to test builds and submit bugs
- Work with technical writers to provide feedback on incorrect steps
- Work with technical writers to provide recordings for training
Requirements
- Background in IT, Software or QA
- Familiar with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
- Familiar with a scripting language
- Experience in automation of Windows and Linux Deployments.
- Generating Technical Documentation
Desired Skills
- Experience in an automated test framework
- Familiar with one of the following: C#, AngularIO, Node
- Familiar with NIST 800-53 or cyber security
Special Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance
