SMX Elevate ISR is seeking for a Geospatial Analyst to join our team in providing cutting edge analytics in support of military, law enforcement, and commercial entities. The Geospatial Analyst will directly support multiple analytic platforms, providing technical expertise, data research, analysis, and production. In addition to directly supporting client analytic requirements, the Geospatial Analyst will also support Elevate ISR capability advancement performing data and technology testing and evaluation.
This position requires a DoD TS/SCI security clearance which requires US citizenship for work on DoD contracts.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform advanced data identification, gathering, analysis, fusion, and evaluation of open-source and commercially available data, products, and services
- Perform geospatial data identification, gathering, fusion, and analysis of publicly and commercially available data, products, and services
- Utilize advanced geospatial applications and toolsets to analyze datasets to develop networks and identify analytic insights
- Develop quantitative and qualitative analytic techniques to integrate and analyze data, solve problems, and effectively communicate results to senior leaders and decision makers
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelors degree in scientific related field
- Demonstrated ability in converting data collected from disparate sources to normalize data and perform network and geospatial analysis
- Expert ability with acquiring, normalizing, and visualizing spatio-temporal data to perform advanced network and geospatial analysis
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills and tradecraft standards to deliver analytic findings in geospatial graphics, table/textual format, or other formats as required by the client
- Demonstrated ability to operate individually and in a team environment in researching multi-faceted problem sets in a dynamic environment
- Knowledge of commercial datasets commonly used in support of Law Enforcement and Department of Defense information and analytic operations
- Experience utilizing commercially available analytic toolsets, including but not limited to: ArcMap/ArcPro, Arc Toolbox, Arc Model Builder, Google Earth, and Analyst’s Notebook
Desired Skills/Experience
- Analytic support to SOF
- Knowledge of the targeting cycle
- Knowledge of other intelligence disciplines, including signals intelligence (SIGINT), human intelligence (HUMINT), Measurement and Signature Intelligence (MASINT), imagery intelligence (IMINT), and Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT)
