MEDEVAC Equipment Logistician

Job Responsibilities: 

• Provide contractor technical support assigned to the PD MEDEVAC Logistics Team.
• Serve as a Technical SME for H-60 MEDEVAC Mission Equipment.
• Review and address maintenance and sustainment support issues affecting the H-60 MEDEVAC fleet.
• Participate in the review and development of new technical manual work packages to support current and future MEDEVAC mission equipment.
• Review existing technical manual work packages to identify errors or deficiencies and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
• Support MEDEVAC mission equipment training as directed.
• Assist with preparation for training events and participate in the coordination and execution of training events as directed.
• Participate in and support Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
• Ensure technical consideration are included in all stages of current and future programs.
• Receive and address inquiries from the fleet, co-workers, and Leadership. 
• Research processes and procedures to identify problems/improvements and recommendations/COAs.
• Author/Review Utility Helicopters Newsletter articles.
• Participate in Validation and Verification events as directed. 
• Provide input and recommendations on Technical Issues/Processes.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.

Education and General experience: 

• Bachelors degree preferred with 10 years of applicable experience. 
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Level Security

Desired Skills:

• General knowledge of Army Aviation Platforms

Security Clearance Requirements:

• Must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
