We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technology Auditor with a strong emphasis on cloud computing to join our dynamic team. As a Technology Auditor, you will be responsible for assessing and evaluating the effectiveness of our organization's technology systems, controls, and processes, with a specific focus on cloud environments.
The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in both auditing and programming, along with expertise in cloud technologies.Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth audits of technology systems, applications, and processes with a primary focus on cloud computing platforms and services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand cloud-based business processes, identify potential risks, and develop audit plans tailored to cloud environments.
- Utilize advanced programming skills to automate and streamline audit processes related to cloud security, compliance, and performance.
- Perform comprehensive technical reviews of cloud infrastructure, configurations, and network architectures to identify vulnerabilities and ensure adherence to best practices in cloud security.
- Develop and maintain audit documentation specific to cloud environments, including test plans, work papers, and reports that clearly communicate findings and recommendations.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes related to cloud computing, and integrate this knowledge into audit methodologies.
- Work closely with IT and security teams to provide recommendations for enhancing the security and efficiency of cloud-based systems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) or equivalent.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or PowerShell, with a focus on automating cloud-related audit processes.- good to haves
- 1-3 years of proven experience in technology auditing, risk assessment, and compliance, with a significant emphasis on auditing cloud environments.
- Familiarity with industry frameworks and standards, such as COBIT, ISO 27001, and NIST, as they apply to cloud security.
- Experience conducting audits of cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex cloud-related concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a keen understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities presented by cloud computing.
