SMX is seeking a Senior AI Analyst to support a new USINDOPACOM J5 office in Hawaii developing an AI/ML enabled plans capability (STORMBREAKER). As a Sr. AI Analyst, you will be working on an accelerated development project in support of a high priority Department of Defense program. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, integration of existing capabilities, as well as development of new applications. You would be a great candidate for this position if you have worked on teams in DoD modeling and simulation-based projects, especially where assets (platforms, systems, personnel) perform at an aggregate level to carry out large-scale operations per plans that include rules of engagement (ROE), GIS data, platform capabilities, intelligence reports, political affiliations, etc. You understand how these aspects interrelate with how a plan executes, and you can build AI components that enable the planner to develop courses of action (COAs.). The candidate for this position must have strong interpersonal skills to be able to communicate effectively. They must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, make decisions in the midst of ambiguity, and meet deadlines. The successful candidate must be a self-starter who needs minimal supervision.

Using AI components to represent units and platforms enables planners to quickly build and test different COAs using different strategies. The STORMBREAKER program represents a rare opportunity to modernize the current planning process by providing military decision makers with the latest technology and AI driven tools to keep our nation safe.
