The Telco Regulatory Compliance team member interacts with external regulatory community and has a good knowledge base of telecommunications regulations globally, market and industry trends. You will manage telecommunications regulatory requirements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute and implement partners, products, and services.
This role requires exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, as well as a strong understanding of telecommunications regulatory context in each of the markets.
Description:
- Manages licensing, filing, and reporting requirements for different Official Regulatory bodies and agencies worldwide on collaboration with external legal resources when applicable.
- Provides direction and information to implement policies, develop company products and ensure company compliance with regulations.
- Track regulatory reporting calendar and organize supporting internal company documentation.
- Participate as needed in document production and research related to data request responses.
- Assist in managing various projects toward meeting regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Support internal teams to adhere to regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to ensure alignment with regulations and license requirements.
- Initiate and manage the application process in accordance with local regulations.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation to track regulatory requirements, reporting obligations and projects status.
- Follows telecommunication regulatory trends to assess potential changes to be performed and keeps the organization informed about changes and their potential impact.
Qualifications:
- S. Degree in related field is required (Telecommunications or Legal strongly preferred)
- Telecommunications regulatory experience, including familiarity with engineering plans and projects in essential
- Superior computer skills, particularly in Excel, with strong data mining and manipulation skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and achieve results on a timely basis.
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to show good judgment, consistency, timeliness, and respect in decision-making.
- English is a must. Any additional language will be considered a strong asset.
