We are pleased to announce the opening for a Junior M&S Accreditation Analyst who will join our Engineering Services Team in Huntsville, Alabama or Colorado Springs, Colorado and become part of our rapidly growing technology company operating in missile defense, cybersecurity, test range modernization, and space control marketspaces. The qualified candidate will be part of an exceptional team supporting the Missile Defense System (MDS) Operational Test Agency (OTA) known for providing an independent operational assessment of the MDS capability to defend the United States, its deployed forces, friends, and allies against missiles of all ranges and in all phases of flight.
Responsibilities:
- Apply verification, validation, and accreditation (VV&A) engineering principles and scientific investigative techniques to support evaluation of the M&S used in operational testing and their ability to support assessment of the MDS.
- Assess complex systems through synthesis of analytical results and expert judgment, review technical documentation, conduct analytical studies, and prepare technical reports/briefings on research findings.
- Perform data analysis of the M&S used in test events to support assessments of the MDS and prepare briefings and reports summarizing assessment results.
- More experienced candidates are also expected to demonstrate innovative application of technical skills to develop intellectual property, solve challenging problems, and serve as a source of professional and technical knowledge accumulated through experience.
Basic Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as engineering, mathematics, physical sciences, or computer science.
- At least 2 years of full-time professional experience in a technical field related to missile defense and/or technical analysis of a complex weapon system.
- Must be eligible to obtain or have an active SECRET clearance, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and be proficient with MS Office automation tools.
- Must be able to work at our customer site in either Huntsville, Alabama or Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience analyzing one or more MDS elements or components including radar systems, weapon systems, missiles, and Infrared (IR) sensors.
- Preferred applicants will have experience in one or more of the following areas: conducting complex analytical studies, developing, or adapting analysis tools to suit needs, building reusable, well-documented MATLAB/Python utilities, and assessing the suitability, effectiveness, survivability, and interoperability of complex military systemsas it pertains to system performance.
- Prior experience with M&S VV&A practices.
- Experience with Department of Defense (DoD) integrated test philosophy, test regulations, and coordinated test and evaluation programs.
- Experience with operational testing and assessment of effectiveness, suitability, and survivability of a weapon system.
