You will join our mission to serve as a global one-stop shop and provide clients with peace of mind. We aim for transportation to be a unique selling point of any event experience. This role reports directly to the CEO, GoHammerhead.Achieving this will require:

- Manage event transportation delivery within existing systems, technology, processes, and strategies while working collaboratively with company leaders to influence positive change.

Core ResponsibilitiesEvent ManagementConsult client on role of transportation in event design & client company objectives.
- Develop key operations processes for large-scale events by identifying bottlenecks and implementing improvements to enhance both revenue and guest experience.
- Define transportation needs for various stakeholders including staff, sponsors, and VIPs, ensuring alignment with broader event goals.
Design large-scale event transport systems for NBA events.
- Lead the RFP process and coordinate with global vehicle suppliers while developing comprehensive mobility plans that cover everything from traffic control to security and parking.
- Establish and improve budgeting and financial tracking processes to optimize event staffing and resource allocation.
Manage vendor & account relationships, event preparation, and internal development.
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of vendor relationships from selection and negotiation to contract management, ensuring alignment with event needs and stakeholder expectations.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless event preparation and compliance with all relevant permits and licenses.
Execute event mobility plan & oversee all on-site stakeholder communication.
- Direct on-site logistics for multiple events, managing everything from fleet allocation to the operation of control centers and lead scheduling & guest management.
- Monitor and adjust financial and operational plans in real time to balance interests between clients, stakeholders, and vendors.
Leadership and Personnel Management
- Drive team development and refine internal processes by working with directors to foster a dynamic work environment that encourages professional growth and learning.
- Coach team leaders to enhance their management skills, focusing on collaboration and continuous improvement of event processes and outcomes.
Financial Management
- Effectively manage the event budget within set parameters
- actively find cost-reduction opportunities whilst upholding service standards.
- Maximize budget utilization through negotiation and internal collaboration.
- Ensure accurate and timely tracking of planned and confirmed expenses.
Physical Demands
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Extensive walking and standing for periods greater than 12 hours while at events.
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds/14 kilograms.
- Full time in-person based in the Charlotte, NC office.
- Requires flexibility to work long hours and weekends, as needed, in addition to having the ability to travel up to 40% - targeted travel 15-25%.
- Willing and eligible to travel internationally.

Technology Development: Collaborate with Qualifications/Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, business administration, or event management preferred, but we do encourage people with any Bachelor’s degree to apply.
- 7+ years’ experience in delivering event transportation services at global (sports) events (e.g. FIFA World Cup, Olympics, Formula 1, Super Bowl)
- 4+ years’ experience managing and coaching people.
- Direct experience managing budgets of at least 500K USD up to 3M USD.
- Experience working with municipal authorities in multiple cities, including permits, routing, and traffic controls.
- Experience across multiple industry sectors (venue, league, third-party services) preferred.
- Proficient computer skills including but not limited to:
- Excel (you know how to create pivot tables, use INDEX-Match, create budgets)
- PowerPoint (can effectively prepare presentations for C-Level audiences)
- CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Airtable)
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Spanish, German, or French can be a plus.
