Rx Help Centers is headquartered in Indianapolis. Founded in 2009, as an extra service provided to customers of various insurance agencies, Rx Help Centers has grown very rapidly out of necessity. We found that an overwhelming number of people were facing financial hardships because of prescription costs due to inadequate prescriptions insurance plan benefits or coverages. We reached out to some of the industry's leaders in pharmaceuticals to work on solutions and have since transformed into one of the premier advocate groups in the nation.We target all of our efforts toward helping people fill the voids that are left from prescription coverage or no coverage at all.

Rx Help Centers aims to serve more Americans than any other advocate group in existence through superior customer service and exhaustive effort on part of all of our advocate associates.

Job Description


The Patient Advocate serves as a liaison between our patients, their healthcare providers, and various prescription drug assistance options, working to reduce the patients' prescription costs. 

**Starting pay $20.00 per hour - Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm** 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities 


  • Make calls to and receive calls from patients, healthcare providers, and assistance programs. 
  • Obtain and accurately enter information from patients, healthcare providers, assistance programs, and other Rx Help Centers staff. 
  • Provide timely and accurate updates to patients, healthcare providers, assistance programs, and other Rx Help Centers staff. 

Qualifications


Required & Essential Skills


  • High School diploma or equivalent 
  • Customer service experience 
  • Detail oriented 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective time management and organizational skills 
  • Data entry experience with general PC knowledge, including email, internet and cloud-based CMS systems 
  • Ability to think critically, effectively analyze information and form sound judgements 
  • Ability to learn quickly, problem solve, multitask, and adapt in a dynamic work environment
  • Bilingual is a plus, but not required
