The Community Events & Tenant Engagement Manager plays a crucial role in cultivating a vibrant and cohesive community atmosphere. This position involves creating, coordinating, and executing a diverse range of onsite events aimed at engaging both tenants and the surrounding community. The manager will also develop strategic partnerships, manage tenant relations, oversee communications and marketing efforts, and contribute to property management functions. The ideal candidate will have exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills, a creative approach to event planning, and the ability to foster strong community ties while aligning with the long-term company/client goals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Event Management:
- Create annual and multi-year event and programming plans that align with ownership’s objectives.
- Create, program, coordinate, and execute a wide range of onsite events aimed at engaging tenants and the surrounding community.
- Collaborate with ownership to create, implement, and manage site strategic partnerships and charitable giving plans that align with the client’s long-term goals.
- Includes ESG initiatives, transportation and connectivity of the site, and community enrichment.
- Provide comprehensive monthly events and programming recaps to General Manager to be included in the monthly owner’s report.
- Generate, manage, and execute license agreements and permitting as required by the City of Boston and ensure compliance with all client insurance, financial, and logistical requirements.
- To host a variety of client events on-site. Act as site-expert on event process and requirements.
Tenant Relations:
- Develop relationships with tenants as a group and as a whole with the goal of creating a community atmosphere
- Create, program, and run events aimed exclusively at the tenants. Events can and should range from large and ambitious to small and personal, catering to a range of people and interests.
- Assist tenants with their internal event and space needs on-site.
Communications and Marketing:
- Prepare tenant newsletters, electronic blasts and property marketing materials.
- Work with various media outlets regarding news and updates ie. Charlestown Patriot Bridge Newspaper and other occasional press releases.
- Manage and grow social media accounts including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
- Manage and update all property websites with the latest in marketing materials, event updates, photos, and other media
- Work with the LPC Marketing group to create materials for events as needed including posters, marketing boards, social posts, and surveys.
- Collect and analyze feedback data on events held onsite to better inform future programming; present this data to the Client to improve future programming accordingly
Property Management Functions:
- Submit work order requests.
- Budget forecasting & reconciliation.
- Participate in weekly management/engineering/security meetings
- Oversee various tenant amenities including: shuttle service, BlueBikes & ZipCar relationships, vending providers, food trucks, and various other third-party vendors partners.
