About the role
CommentSold, America’s #1 live selling SaaS platform is looking for a Creative Director to join their offshore team. CommentSold currently has over 50 people based out of India and you will be joining this team working primarily to oversee and manage the design, branding, and marketing activities for CommentSold. You will manage a team of designers, project managers, writers, website developers, contractors and agencies whose duties focus on creating marketing materials, websites, videos, presentations, ads, blogs and collateral.
You will define the goals of each project and come up with a concept and plan to meet those goals. Our ideal candidate is team-oriented, passionate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a US based company or client focusing on the US market. You will report to the Director of Marketing, work closely with the broader Marketing team, and partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Product teamsLocation: India Mumbai (preferred)/ Bangalore (optional)
In this role you will
- Support campaigns to drive outcomes, acting as back-end support for all marketing content and branding
- Be responsible for the day-to-day art and design of content and web teams
- Be responsible for pairing the best design with the best content to generate marketing action
- Write and design unique and well-crafted copy that aligns with the marketing requirements
- Bring innovative thinking and lead the creative strategy for marketing campaigns
- Have a demonstrable understanding of design concepts, including layout, composition, typography, color, and a thorough knowledge of preparing clean, print-ready mechanical files; Professional web and email design and development experience is required
- Have a thorough understanding of website and mobile design, including basic usability, industry standards, navigation, and most importantly, customer experience
- Create and maintain consistent, high level design standards across omni-channel executions
- Work with analytics teams to understand what is working and not working and pivots creative direction as appropriate
- Initiate innovative ideas to enhance the brand experience and drive performance metrics including sales, conversion, and traffic
- Have demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and deliverables
If you’re right for this role, you
- Have 5+ years of experience in creative development and production; Bachelor’s degree in fine arts, graphic design or related creative discipline preferred
- Have 3+ years of experience in management position(s) with budget responsibilities
- Have experience effectively mentoring, leading and motivating creative teams
- Are an experienced Project Manager; proactive to change management and risk mitigation
- Have a demonstrated ability to develop concepts and deliver creative execution against strategic briefs
- Have skills in graphic design with a good sense of layout best practices; you have expert level knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator etc.)
- Are an expert in digital design (social posts, ads, landing pages, web design, etc.)
- Have strong understanding of retail print, digital marketing and e-commerce strategies
- Have video editing and web development experience; preferred
- Are a captivating storyteller; you love to showcase your creativity and share your vision and big ideas
- Are a strong communicator; you effortlessly adapt to others communication style, earning trust and buy-in
- Are a strong, decisive decision maker
