About the role:
Join the LTK Family! We are searching for a senior level software engineer to work on opportunities to enhance and streamline our user experiences. By prioritizing efficiency and simplicity, you will aim to create intuitive, efficient, and delightful user interactions. You will be dedicated to optimizing aspects of the user journey, ensuring that our products exceed user expectations. You will be working with other teams within and outside org, PMs and other stakeholders to understand usage of third party software and how best to integrate and streamline the user flow and experience.
You will be responsible for conducting and coordinating software development activities throughout the product life cycle within an Agile Development environment.The ideal Senior Software Engineer for this space will be organized, productive, and hungry for impact. You will have strong experience in building scalable systems that anticipate significant growth across multiple dimensions. You’ll be inventive, and have a pragmatic and iterative approach to delivering high quality software. You’ll ruthlessly prioritize accomplishing the highest impact deliverables first, and provide valuable guidance to the engineering manager on the direction of the team’s infrastructure. You will proactively establish lines of communication across the teams and business units, and draw on them to make the team successful.

- Coming up with feasible and practical solutions to tough problems.
- Write very high-quality, well-tested code that is robust and easy to maintain.
- Take ownership of projects and drive them to completion.
- Write high quality tests.
- Work and succeed in a fast-paced and agile development environment.
- Identify and drive improvements to our software and development processes.
- Conduct constructive peer design/code reviews.
- Work with distributed teams across different time zones.
- Technical subject matter expert who mentors fellow engineers, demonstrates technical experience and leads teams in solving challenging problems.
What you will bring to LT
- 6+ years of software development experience.
- 3+ years experience with modern Vue.js JavaScript framework and Typescript
- AWS and CI/CD automation experience highly preferred
- Good understanding of system design, data structure and algorithms.
- History of designing and building highly scalable distributed systems and processes in a cloud environment.
- Relational Database experience such as MySql
- Experience integrating 3rd party API's (REST, OAuth).
- Experience writing tests (unit, integration, E2E).
- Comfortable shipping code multiple times per day.
- Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills.
- Ability to model and conceptualize the integrations across complex systems.
- Have a strong sense of ownership and a passion for efficiency and writing clean, high-quality code.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Nice to have:
- Experience with Golang or similar backend languages (Python, Java, etc).
- Experience working with third party tools (HubSpot, Stripe etc.)
- Experience with observability tools like Datadog or Grafana
- Knowledge of retail domain and affiliated marketing
