Job Description:
We are looking for a Delivery Lead to join our team. This role will bridge the gap between our technical teams and our clients, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with the highest quality. This role combines project management, engineering management, account management, and agile leadership. The Delivery Lead will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams, fostering a collaborative and productive environment, and driving the successful completion of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure phases, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget and scope.
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and clients, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives and deliverables.
- Foster an agile working environment, implementing scrum, kanban, or other agile methodologies to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output.
- Mentor and coach team members in best software development, project management practices, and soft skills (communication, leadership, organization, autonomy), encouraging continuous improvement and innovation.
- Oversee the technical development process, ensuring engineering best practices are followed and that the final product meets the highest quality standards.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, solving problems proactively to avoid delays or impacts on quality.
- Work closely with product owners to define and prioritize product backlogs, maximizing customer value.
- Maintain a motivated and high-performing team, addressing issues affecting team morale or performance.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering projects that meet or exceed quality, functionality, and value expectations.
- Work closely with Customer Success to collaborate, communicate, and solve issues for teams and customers while identifying opportunities to provide more value to the account.
Qualifications
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in agile environments in project management, engineering management, and development management.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello, Asana) and agile software development methodologies.
- A commitment to continuous learning and improvement in both technical and leadership areas.
- Experience in sales, customer experience, or account management.
- Experience in coaching teams.
- Experience as a technical leader or in similar positions.
- Data-driven orientation.
- Latam-based position.
Soft skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills, proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical teams, stakeholders, and clients.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex projects with multiple moving parts.
