About the Role


The Logging team you will be joining is responsible for building and maintaining all our capabilities for logging in the Chronosphere product and driving the revenue for our business line. We help our customers understand and derive value from their logging telemetry data.

In This Role You Will



  • Build out the future of Chronosphere’s nascent Logging experience

  • Own and drive forward complex projects within the Logging product

  • Partner with the team to help shape the roadmap and direction of the product

  • Contribute to shared tooling and processes to improve the lives of Chronosphere engineers

You have



  • The ability to independently own projects from inception to delivery (i.e. plan and gather requirements, collaborate with Product)

  • The ability to partner effectively with cross-functional partners e.g. product, design, technical writing

  • Expertise in building, delivering, and maintaining complex UI experiences both within the confines of an existing codebase and greenfield projects.

  • Experience building with Typescript and React

  • The willingness to coach and mentor other engineers

  • A collaborative working style

What you will achieve 


Within the first 30 days, you will work with your manager to optimize your onboarding plan for how you learn best. You will develop an understanding of Chronosphere’s business, platform and logging capabilities. You will have time to learn about our customer’s needs, and the underlying technology. You will build relationships with your teammates. You will start contributing to the product.Within 60 days, you will work on small projects and enhancements that give you a breadth of experience in our stack.

You will learn about and become an active participant in the greater UI community within ChronosphereWithin 90 days, you will guide more ambiguous and highly complex projects. You will contribute to our product ideas and roadmap. You will develop relationships with engineers outside the team.
