Full-timeDescriptionLalor Family Dental is a growing, multi-office, family-owned dental practice in the Greater Binghamton Area bringing over 50 years of experience in the dental field.We have a current need for an in-house Building Contractor, position is full-time. Hours would vary based on need.At Lalor Family Dental, we strive to present and maintain a clean, fresh and presentable environment for our patients. This requires continual upkeep of all our offices and facilities, including patching/painting the many operatories, reception areas, check-in/out areas, hallways, restrooms, offices and conference rooms, to name a few.
Also requires an ability to assist in large scale building projects/remodeling, etc. As our offices are typically open from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm on weekdays, this work may occasionally include after hours and weekends. - Insured contractor with at least 5 years of commercial and/or residential experience
- Detail-oriented and meticulous with all levels of construction, keeping the work area clean during and after the work is complete
- Possess solid level of construction/carpentry skills (ie. ability to work with drywall, baseboards, removing or repairing trim, removing old wallpaper, mill work, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical
- Strong time management and prioritization skills with ability to multi-task and complete projects in a timely manner with high quality results
- Excellent communication skills
