Raptive is seeking an experienced editorial lead to join our Creator Marketing team as the VP of Creator Content and Education. The person in this role will be responsible for all communications to Raptive’s creator base. Reporting to the SVP of Creator Marketing, you’ll manage and execute our overall communications strategy, including content for our blog, newsroom and newsletters, issues management across major channels like our dashboard alerting system, and work with teams across the company that communicate with creators daily. You’ll partner across the organization to ensure creators know what’s happening in our business, including advertiser and creator industry developments.
What you’ll be doing:
- Create and manage editorial processes and calendars
- Lead strategy for major communication efforts to Raptive creators
- Collaborate across teams to develop and drive storytelling opportunities by using data and insights, including video, infographics and data visualizations for all platforms
- Create curated content that resonates with creators and own major channels, including the weekly creator newsletter and email communications, and plan, organize, and execute all content for mass email campaigns and blog content
- Assist teams with editorial best practices and help resolve escalated creator concerns, ensuring happiness and satisfaction at every point of customer interaction
- Develop relationships with stakeholders across the company, ensuring clear roles and responsibilities and communication at every level
- Create narratives based on our messaging framework, using trends and forecasting to develop stories that will resonate with our creator audience
- Write clear and concise documentation and keep teams informed on updates through proactive communications
- Work directly with leaders across the organization to drive Raptive’s narrative and corporate initiatives
- Support and help execute Raptive’s thought leadership strategy
- Maintain a deep understanding of the ad industry, creator economy, and larger media landscape
The skills and experience you bring to the job:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 8-10 years experience in an editorial role within the creator economy, media or digital advertising, preferred
- Previous experience building and maintaining content strategies and editorial calendars
- A passion for creators and the creator economy
- Proven track record in writing, assigning and editing news stories and features and a knack for generating lively and compelling content, including visually driven content packages, ongoing franchises and engaging regular features
- Thrives on managing a team and creating a collaborative work environment through strong leadership
- Proven ability to think creatively and innovatively
- Thoughtful and well-organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks with incredible attention to detail
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently to develop a strategy and execute it successfully
- Team player who loves to work collaboratively and cross-functionally
- Ability to contextualize and prioritize a high volume of information while managing competing deadlines from internal and external stakeholders
- Thrive under fast-paced conditions and ever-changing circumstances
- Comfortable speaking, presenting to the C-suite, and willing to be a face to represent the company externally and internally

The range provided is Raptive’s reasonable estimate of the annualized base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, geographic location, knowledge, skills and abilities.
