Reporting directly to the CEO and partnering closely with product, sales and customer success, the Content and Product Marketing Lead will lead all communication and marketing activities focused on building awareness, driving engagement and creating inbound leads among our core customers of R&D and innovation leaders. We are seeking someone eager to embrace and drive change, ready to tackle new challenges head-on, and play a crucial role in scaling a social impact startup to its Series A and beyond. 

What you’ll do:


  • Collaborate with product, sales and customer success to refine competitive positioning tailored to key market segments
  • Create sales enablement materials for new logo acquisition and expansion that effectively positions Halo against alternatives, including case studies, one-pagers and presentations
  • Develop top-of-funnel thought leadership content - including blog posts, partner webinars and email newsletters, designed to educate, inform and build credibility among key audiences
  • Strategize and execute campaigns for new product launches and major feature releases
  • Measure, analyze and report on effectiveness of marketing initiatives, using data to inform decisions and improve future performance 
  • Ensure consistent branding, messaging and voice/tone across all content and communications

Who you are:


  • You have 5+ years of experience in marketing at a fast-growing tech company
  • You have 2+ years in product or content marketing
  • You have prior experience scaling marketing at a startup or early-stage company
  • You are an excellent project manager that consistently meets deadlines and effectively prioritizes tasks 
  • You have experience developing content across formats, including social media, white papers, blogs, emails, presentations, one-pagers and case studies
  • You are a skilled verbal and written communicator known for your storytelling abilities, editorial instincts and attention to detail
  • You are data-driven with a natural inclination towards measuring, testing, learning, and iterating 
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and thrive in an unpredictable, fast-paced work environment
  • You are passionate about our mission to “move science forward”
  • You take your work seriously but don’t take yourself too seriously! While technically a job, this shouldn’t feel like work because you're inspired by the mission and energized by the challenge.

Bonus points if:

  • You have worked at a two-sided marketplace or network
  • You are proficient with Hubspot (preferable) or similar marketing automation software
  • You have a science-related degree or industry experience in R&D
