Project Manager


to join our Project Operations team at our HQ in Chicago.In this role, you will oversee the fulfillment of manufacturing projects (CNC Machining, 3D printing, Sheet Metal Fabrication) from some of the biggest companies in the world, including 27% of Fortune 500 companies. To be successful, you need to have an engineering or manufacturing background, be highly organized and be committed to providing the best support to our customers.

What you'll do:


  • Work closely with Sales team and customers: Collaborate with the Sales team and their customers during the quoting and production phase. Ensure orders are sourced and fulfilled on-time and according to specifications, providing exceptional support by owning communication with customers during production of orders from sale through delivery.
  • Monitor ongoing orders: Monitor ongoing orders in tandem with the production-facing team. Proactively reach out to customers to provide updates and keep them informed about the progress of their orders.
  • Use in-house software for customer requests: Utilize our admin website, Freshdesk and Hubspot to manage incoming requests from US customers and our internal teams. Handle customer inquiries, requests, and updates via email and phone, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Build and manage customer relationships: Build and manage dedicated relationships with customers. Work on behalf of customers with internal and external stakeholders to investigate and organize equitable resolutions for any issues that may arise during or after the delivery of parts.

What it takes:


  • 2-3 years of experience in a fast-paced project management or customer success role supporting a technical or manufacturing product preferred
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing technologies (CNC Machining, 3D printing, Sheet Metal, Injection Molding, etc.) or equivalent experience learning a complex project lifecycle
  • Timeliness to meet strict delivery deadlines while managing a large number of different orders simultaneously
  • Proven track record building and maintaining customer relationships
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to take ownership of and resolve complex problems with multiple stakeholders

$53,000 - $58,000 a yearPhysical Demands:  While performing the essential duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use a computer keyboard, monitor and mouse, telephone and printer; reach with hands, and arms, talk, see and hear.  The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop or kneel and must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Work Environment:  Indoors (A/C); nonsmoking; the majority of this job function is performed in an office setting requiring normal safety precautions.

However, there may be job duties that require the employee to spend time in the manufacturing areas exposed to machinery and noise; eye protection occasionally required.
