Job Description
As a Service Lane Manager you will be responsible for assisting with training, motivating, counseling and monitoring the performance of the service department staff. In addition, you will be responsible for writing up repair orders, maintaining at or an above average CSI score and follow-up with guest issues or concerns to ensure customer satisfaction.

Pay: $100,000++ (Commission Role - GP on ROs, CSI & Total Shop GP)

Job Responsibilities
- Interact with customers to assess vehicle issues and gather necessary information for repair orders
- Write accurate repair orders, detailing customer concerns, vehicle symptoms, diagnostic findings, recommended repairs, parts needed, and labor estimates
- Coordinate service drive activities by monitoring work progress, and ensuring timely completion of repairs
- Communicate with customers throughout the repair process to provide updates on service progress, estimated completion times, and any additional service recommendations
- Assist in hiring and training of new employees within the service department, including service advisors, technicians, and porters
Qualifications
- Previous experience in automotive service lane management and repair order writing within a dealership environment
- Diagnostic skills and technical knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to write accurate and comprehensive repair orders
- Proficient computer skills and familiarity with automotive service software systems
- Leadership abilities with the capacity to manage and motivate a team to achieve department goals
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (2 year minimum)
