Full-timeDescriptionXR Trading is a proprietary trading firm with employees in the Netherlands, UK and US. XR participates in a wide variety of marketplaces including global futures, equities, commodities, options, fixed income, and cryptocurrencies. Our culture emphasizes teamwork, and focuses on continuous integration and test-driven development.
Job Function & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team on research and development of CeFi strategies
- Independent research of crypto topics
- Independently develop and test python applications to support CeFi trading
- Working hours are 8am - 5pm BST Monday - Friday
Location
- Employee must be a UK citizen
- Work location is the UK is generally flexible and subject to approval
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year university
- Computer Science, Information Science or related technical field
- Strong GPA (3.5 or higher)
Required Experience & Skills
- Robust development skillset including testing, debugging and problem solving
- C++ experience is preferred but not required
- Strong understanding of Python
- Ability to pick up new languages and 3rd party libraries quickly
- Excellent communication skills
- A self-motivated personality with a passion for working in a fast-paced environment
- A determination to solve the problem at hand
- Smart contract development and deployment experience is preferred but not required
