The Opportunity
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Associate whose core responsibilities include managing AR and AP and day-to-day bookkeeping. As an Accounting Associate you will also be responsible for supporting the Finance Manager in a variety of roles which would include audit and tax work. This role is a hybrid role and requires you to be in the office at least 2 days a week in our Makati Office.
About You
To be successful as an Accounting Associate, you should have strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills and be able to present financial information and models in a concise and easily comprehensible manner.
What You'll Do
- Manage the day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable and accounts receivable process
- Answer vendor inquiries and send collection emails
- Prepare Bank Reconciliations
- Support month-end close process
- Prepare tax reports
- Assist with auditor and tax work
- Perform limited treasury functions
Qualifications
- 2+ years of direct experience and total accounting experience of 4-6 years
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- CPA is required
- Experience with AR and AP process
- Highly proficiency in Excel
- Experience in Computerized Accounting Systems (CAS) such as NetSuite and Bill.com preferred, but not required
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Detail-oriented and able to perform in a high-pressure environment
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Must be willing to work on a mid-shift schedule (4PM to 1AM Philippine Time)
- Must be willing to work onsite in our Makati Office at least 2 to 3 times per week
