We are seeking a Senior Technical Product Owner to join our rapidly growing software engineering team in Hyderabad, India. This team works on complex technical challenges, employs creativity and constantly learns a variety of frameworks, tools and technologies.
As our Senior Technical Product Owner, you will be required to:
- Participate in roadmap discovery and planning meetings with leadership and Product Managers.
- Build deep understanding of customer needs, pain points, and problems to solve. Analyze existing applications to understand and document functionality, business rules, and data flows.
- Translate product vision and requirements to system requirements, epics, and user stories for implementation by engineering teams. Develop initial product concepts and present them to stakeholders for feedback and approval.
- Work as a member of a scrum team and have the technical credibility to drive constructive discussions and decisions on priority, interdependencies, and related processes. Use Jira to manage cross-functional collaboration for end-to-end product development lifecycle.
- Support the team in delivering value as the person who holds and communicates the full technical vision of a project, establishes milestones, develops, and prioritizes the team backlog.
- Know how and when to ship quality products and features. Work closely with engineering and QA to validate that the work item meets acceptance criteria. Use Jira to manage cross-functional collaboration for end-to-end product development lifecycle.
- Engage with customer and stakeholders to gather insights throughout the development process. Communicate progress and challenges to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and collaboration. Keep stakeholders informed and advocate for the product’s vision and goals across the organization.
- Demonstrate a relentless sense of ownership for the success of a program.
To apply for this role, you should possess the following skills, experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology
- 8+ years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner, Engineering Management and experience of utilizing an Agile framework
- Required skills – SDLC, Agile development and scrum methodology experience, UI and UX designs, Product design and Development concepts.
- Experience working with geo-distributed teams and stakeholders
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to adapt to a range of audiences
- You will portray strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
- You should have the ability and experience to collect, analyze the information and resolve complicated problems.
- Good to have: MS SQL development and DB knowledge.
- Good to have: Working experience on .NET Framework, C#, VB.NET, API knowledge and Microsoft Tech stack and any front-end development frameworks.
