The Position:


Are you a recent college grad looking to launch your sales career? Or perhaps you're looking for a career change and want to get into the fintech SaaS space? Well, we are growing our Business Development Executive team and are looking to develop the future leaders of sales. This entry-level role will allow you to hone your prospecting/hunting skills by researching, engaging with, and sending qualified leads to our Account Executives. Our ideal candidate will be tenacious and hungry for success, developing into a Corporate Account Executive in 1-2 years.

What You Will Do:


  • Engage prospective customers by phone and email.
  • Partner closely with Account Executives to ensure strong communication and proper hand-offs.
  • Make a great first impression with our prospects by demonstrating strong knowledge in key areas such as product, competitors, industry and more (you’ll be thoroughly trained on this).
  • Hit your monthly targets for qualified demos booked and completed.
  • Be a product knowledge expert and successfully overcome prospective customer objections.
  • Actively look for opportunities to improve and optimize our sales processes.
  • Accurately enter and maintain clean data in our CRM (Salesforce.com).

Requirements

What You Need to Be Successful:


  • College degree.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Personable, outgoing and energetic.
  • Self-starter, results-oriented.
  • Quick learner.
  • Passion for the product/company.
  • Critical thinking skills.
  • Eagerness to grow/learn.
  • Any sales experience is preferred, but not required (This is an entry-level sales position created to help you develop necessary sales skills by learning and growing from top performers at Bectran).
