Tie Bar store experience brings to life our unique site experience, allowing our customers to truly engage with the product. Our location is a 'candy store for guys' and our stores have been featured in NY Magazine, Time Out, Chicago Tribune and GQ Magazine. We’re a small, entrepreneurial team with big ambition. We are looking for a like-minded, driven candidate for our Stylist role and to serve as an ambassador to The Tie Bar brand.
The Position:
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to grow his or her career with a successful brand. This role is responsible for supporting the Store Manager to build, guide and support the store. To bring a positive experience for customers while growing sales and profitability. This is a full time position.
Functions & Responsibilities:
Generate Sales:
-Supports store to meet and exceed store financial goals -Measures and develops crew performance goals to increase profitability-Actively looks for opportunities to drive additional sales and traffic-Aware of market competitor activities-Sources and supports In-Store and HQ driven events-Supports and Communicates HQ initiatives-Customer Experience:-Personally exemplifies TTB brand thru actions and dress.-Develop customers into repeat shoppers through information gathering, customer follow-up and email capture-Educates crew and customers regarding product information and brand initiatives-Ensures store practices and procedures support a positive customer experience (holds and store specific services) -Collects and encourages associates to solicit customer feedback to better product and store environment
Staff Development:
-Maintains welcoming fun, engaging, energetic yet professional store environments that adhere to all HR policies and laws-Assists in the development and education associates -Supports store manager at store meetings and in team building exercises-Recognizes and rewards associate performance-Builds an environment that fosters open and respectful communication with associates and Head Quarter partners-Assists in maintains talent pool which promotes the brand to fill open positions in a timely manner by proactive recruitment and networking
Operations:
-Supports store compliance with operational standards, expectations and federal law-Supports store in planning and executing direction in a timely manner-Evaluates store operations for opportunities to enhance efficiency, productivity and profitability-Maintains efficient merchandise controls-Assists in the development of loss prevention awareness among all staff -Supports store to consistently meet payroll expectations with partnership of Store Manager.
Merchandising:
-Supports store merchandising to reflect current trend report, brand initiatives and local customer needs-Actively looks for replenishment opportunities through restocking and Head Quarter partnership-Audits store cleanliness and visual standards-Supports Store Manager to make merchandise moves based on sell-through and customer feedback to drive business
