About the Position


We’re seeking a versatile and talented Product Designer to join our growing team. You thrive in lean startup environments and are eager to see your impact, as we build a category-defining product. As our founding Product Designer, you will partner closely with our Product Founder and CTO to lead and execute the design of user experience and platform interfaces, across our solution. You will challenge assumptions, consider non-obvious alternatives, and drive elegant simplicity for our users.

Responsibilities


  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our target users, their needs, and pain points, and advocate for user-driven decision-making. 
  • Refine your design solutions in response to user feedback, market trends, and evolving technical requirements.
  • Create and maintain design systems including wireframes, mockups, UI prototypes, and specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with Product to pinpoint design challenges and craft sophisticated solutions.
  • Work with Engineering to review the implementation of designs and contribute to quality assurance. 
  • Analyze user onboarding, engagement, and retention data to improve the overall product experiences.
  • Serve as a Design thought leader and subject-matter expert across teams, to drive a user-centered design vision and strategy. Apply strategic thinking to communicate the value of essential solutions.
  • Make the complex simple for our customers. Seize the opportunity to make a data cloud product into something so simple, that every business team can activate value from it in minutes.

Qualifications


  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS software design. 
  • Domain experience in designing complex marketing or data technology solutions.
  • Proven track record of thriving in dynamic startup environments, demonstrating meaningful contributions in driving growth and scalability from the ground up.
  • The ability to balance an iterative approach and urgency to solve customer pain, while shipping high-quality designs and building for scale. 
  • SQL Understanding. To make data simple to activate for our customers, you need to understand both data and our customers well enough to translate through design.
  • Strong understanding of how design, product, and engineering can work together to expedite the delivery of high-quality experiences efficiently and at scale.

The estimated salary for this role is $130,000-$150,000 USD. This role is also eligible for equity. Final base salary decisions will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, such as the individual’s performance, experience, and qualifications.
