About the Role
As an MSP Inside Sales Representative, you are responsible for engaging and driving new MSP business. This is a quota carrying and revenue generating position that reports to our Vice President, Global MSP. This role involves complex selling within a sales cycle period. You will gain a deep understanding of our partner sales strategies while creating a vision that inspires MSPs to utilize Keeper as a trusted resource for their clients.
Responsibilities
- Thrive in a supportive but independent workplace with the opportunity to grow as our organization grows
- Proactively target new Managed Services Partners through prospecting and lead generation campaigns by phone and emails
- Manage active relationships with MSPs and be able to answer pricing, resources, and sometimes technical questions or at least direct them to the appropriate resources at Keeper
- Differentiate between KeeperMSP’s offering against competing solutions clearly
- Manage your schedule to include both existing relationship expansion and also new MSP prospecting
- Prioritize channel partnerships and distribution relationships. Experience working in 3 tier distribution models
- Articulate and demonstrate the Keeper MSP platform to prospective new partners
- Have a solid understanding of MSPs within the larger Channel landscape
- Maintain contractual documentation for your MSPs
- Have a self starter mentality and be flexible to the fast pace of selling KeeperMSP
- Utilize Salesforce.com to accurately reflect pipeline and account activity
- Have the ability to travel to and from customer meetings (locally and globally) and rent and/or operate a car on behalf of the company
Requirements
- 3+ years of software sales experience working in or selling to Managed Service Providers
- A full and complete understanding of Managed Services Partners and the platforms they operate to provide product to their end user customers
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platform and other sales productivity tools
- An accomplished track record of selling software into IT organizations
- Strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to overcome objections and influence buying decisions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Act as a subject matter expert on all Keeper products, staying knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes, updates, and new products
- Self-motivated and target-driven with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Web-conference demo experience
- Willingness to travel up to 20%
Preferred Requirements
- Knowledge of cybersecurity strongly preferred
- Experience selling identity access management solutions, including PAM (privileged access management)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Suite programs
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
