The primary objectives and responsibilities of a Global Resource Planner includes:
Market Analysis and Forecasting:
Analyze sales trends and project requirements to predict future resource needs aligned with revenue targets.
Global Resource Planning:
Develop and execute a global strategy to meet project objectives, maximizing revenue and margins while minimizing delivery time.
Collaborative Resource Assessment:
Partner with Professional Services Directors and Project Managers to assess resource requirements.
Judicious Resource Allocation:
Allocate resources judiciously to ensure optimal utilization and avoid over or underutilization.
Record Maintenance and Utilization Tracking:
Maintain accurate records and track resource utilization across projects.
Detailed Scheduling and Contingency Planning:
Create detailed schedules, anticipating conflicts and preparing contingency plans.
Optimization Solutions:
Identify resource gaps or bottlenecks and propose solutions to enhance project efficiency.
Data-driven Analysis:
Analyze resource utilization data to recommend process improvements for enhanced resource management.
Tool Management and Reporting:
Update and manage global resource planning tools and reporting systems.
Strategic Partnerships:
Build partnerships with HR, Finance, and Sales Leaders to forecast future resource needs.
Stakeholder Communication:
Effectively communicate resource allocation plans to stakeholders.
Real-time Project Monitoring:
Monitor project progress and adjust resource allocation in real-time.
Project Collaboration:
Work closely with project managers to align resource allocation with project goals.
Transparency in Reporting:
Prepare reports tracking resource status, utilization, and efficiency for stakeholder insight.
Operational Excellence:Strive for operational excellence by reducing project overruns and optimizing resource usage for cost-efficiency.
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Previous experience in a Resource Planning position with a focus on B2B SaaS solutions;
- Project Management experience;
- Proficiency in resource management planning tools;
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Management or relatable field or experience;
- Exposure of working with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally;
- A highly collaborative approach;
- Excellent interpersonal and customer services skills;
- Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills;
- Fantastic verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to organise tasks and projects;
- Ability to work well under pressure to meet business critical deadlines;
- Naturally curious with a passion for driving continuous improvement of results.
