The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Application Developer that is interested in becoming part of a remote-first team disrupting the financial world through technology. This will be a full remote role.
About You
The Derivative Path APAC, Inc. Application Developer will be providing support for our rapidly growing company and software platform DerivativeEDGE. The role would ideally have 10+ years of experience in development and support of financial products.
What You'll Do
- Demonstrated ability to build and extend complex service-based.Net applications.
- Knowledge of Platform Engineering and experience with building SaaS platforms
- Excellent communication skills
- Agile development experience a plus
Qualifications
Have sufficient experience (minimum 7 years) in .NET using C# to demonstrate the following:
- General proficiency in writing scalable code
- Understanding of Object-Oriented and Functional programming
- Knowledge and applications of various design patterns
- Familiarity with Service Oriented Architecture
- Practical experience with one or more ORM
- Skilled at Database programming
- Familiarity with Git source control
- Experience with test-driven development and testing frameworks
- Must be willing to work on a mid-shift schedule (4PM to 1AM Philippine Time)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior cloud-based development
- Ancillary UI development skills (Blazor, CSS, Bootstrap, or similar)
- Projects involving financial companies, trading, back-office, or accounting
- Development experience in mid/large enterprise applications
