About the role:
We’re looking for a high-impact Senior Manager of People Partners & Programs who will be a true player-coach responsible for supporting key client groups as a People Business Partner and leading company-wide strategy for People Business Partnerships and People Programs. This leadership position requires strategic foresight, high EQ, and the ability to build trust with individuals across the organization at all levels and drive results. Whether helping to design and roll out performance management or enhancing our internal leveling structure across the Company, you will leverage your program development skills and organizational savviness to bring initiatives to fruition in meaningful ways, at scale and with our Company DNA thriving throughout.This position will report to the VP of People based out of our Bellevue, WA, office.
This hybrid role is expected to be in the office a few days a week.

- Provide world-class People Business partnership to multiple internal client groups and lead company-wide business partner strategy
- Leverage data and business insights to drive solutions that create a positive impact and move the business forward
- Anticipate and handle employee relations within client groups, addressing where appropriate and escalating when necessary
- Develop comprehensive onboarding programs to ensure new employees feel welcomed, equipped, and integrated into the organization from day one
- Oversee the design and implementation of career development frameworks, training programs, and performance management systems to support employee enablement and growth
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives to foster a culture of belonging and ensure equitable experience and opportunities for all employees
- Manage relevant vendor relationships in your purview
- Work closely with leadership to ensure the best possible employee experience, enhancing retention and mitigating turnover risks
- Represent the cultural cornerstones of the company, such as being driven, neighborly, and adaptable
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- 10+ years of cumulative professional human resources, program development, and employee engagement experience in fast-growing companies; of that, 5+ years of People Business Partner experience with senior-level clients
- 8+ years of people management experience
- Strong employee relations expertise with an ability to proactively anticipate and advise accordingly; People Business Partner experience supporting sales, quota or commission-based teams is a plus.
- Superb judgment and integrity, including excellent decision-making skills and a sense of urgency; able to cope well with and lead teams through change
- Attention to detail and the ability to effectively handle multiple high-impact priorities and projects
- Comprehensive understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and regulatory compliance
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization
- Proven ability to think strategically, analyze data, and develop actionable insights to identify priorities and drive continuous improvement
- Passion for creating an inclusive, supportive, and empowering work environment where employees can succeed and thrive
- Demonstrated success in designing and delivering best-in-class talent development programs
A commitment to continuous learning as illustrated by the completion of a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Human Resources OR a combination of experience and certifications such as a PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP/SCP
Compensation Range:
$210,000 - $230,000

Individual salaries within our ranges are determined through a variety of factors, including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. All roles will receive equity in OfferUp as part of their compensation, the amount of equity varying depending on the individual’s level and experience.Benefits (all US roles): In addition to our compensation package, this role is eligible to enroll in health insurance, healthcare savings, and spending accounts, retirement savings benefits (401(k) plan with match), basic and voluntary life insurance, disability benefits, and paid time off for sick leave, family and/or medical leave, vacation, and 12 company holidays.
In regard to vacation time, OfferUp has a flexible vacation policy, and, in general, full-time, exempt employees will be expected to take 3-5 weeks (15-30 days) of pre-planned vacation time per year. Vacation needs are flexible and will naturally vary from year to year based on individual circumstances and business needs. In regard to sick time, all full-time employees (exempt and non-exempt) will be granted 12 days (96 hours) of sick time per year (pro-rated if the start date is other than January 1).
