About the role:
We are seeking a results-driven and strategic-minded Senior Sales Leader to join our dynamic team. As the Senior Sales Leader, you will be pivotal in driving revenue growth and expanding market presence across multiple business lines. You will be responsible for leading a team of sales leaders, partnering cross-functionally to develop and implement new programs, assisting with compensation planning, and executing strategies to achieve business objectives.

- Lead Leaders: Manage and mentor a team of sales leaders, providing guidance, support, and coaching to drive performance and exceed targets.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with other departments, such as Marketing, Product Development, and Operations, to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Compensation Planning: Assist in developing and implementing sales compensation plans that motivate and incentivize the sales team while aligning with business objectives.
- Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and execute sales strategies across three different business lines, leveraging market insights, industry trends, and competitive analysis to drive revenue growth and market share.
- Talent Management: Recruit, hire, onboard, and develop top sales talent based on business needs and growth objectives. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to maximize individual and team performance.
You'll thrive in this role if you have:
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
- 4-7 years of experience in sales leadership roles within the technology industry, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth and exceeding targets.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve exceptional results.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence cross-functionally.
- Strategic thinker who can analyze complex data and market trends to develop actionable insights and drive decision-making.
- Experience in compensation planning and sales operations.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in salesforce automation tools, CRM systems, and sales analytics platforms.
Compensation Range: $155,000 -$165,000 + $75,000 in targeted commissions
OfferUp offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. Individual salaries within our ranges are determined through a variety of factors, including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography. All roles will receive equity in OfferUp as part of their compensation, the amount of equity varying depending on the individual’s level and experience.Benefits (all US roles): In addition to our compensation package, this role is eligible to enroll in health insurance, healthcare savings, and spending accounts, retirement savings benefits (401(k) plan with match), basic and voluntary life insurance, disability benefits, and paid time off for sick leave, family and/or medical leave, vacation, and 12 company holidays.
In regard to vacation time, OfferUp has a flexible vacation policy, and, in general, full-time, exempt employees will be expected to take 3-5 weeks (15-30 days) of pre-planned vacation time per year. Vacation needs are flexible and will naturally vary from year to year based on individual circumstances and business needs. In regard to sick time, all full-time employees (exempt and non-exempt) will be granted 12 days (96 hours) of sick time per year (pro-rated if the start date is other than January 1).
