About your Role:
As an BDR, you will help drive the expansion of a hyper-growth technology business into new global geographies. Your mission is to grow partner relationships with our major cloud and technology partners. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong track record in Business Development, Sales and excellence in execution.
You Will
Drive business opportunities from target partners to support our revenue growth
Build mindshare and deep relationships with the solutions architect and sales organizations
Evangelize value proposition with their executives, partner team, and product team
Execute monthly and quarterly business reviews with managed partners
Achieve and maintain the desired level of partner certification/competency with the target partners
Assist with quarterly business reviews with managed partners
Monitor and report the effectiveness of various partner initiatives internally within Tigera
Articulate Tigera’s value proposition to partner teams and uncover problems that need to be solved for their customers
Manage, track, and report on all activities and results using Salesforce
Provide additional business development team support on an ad hoc/as needed basis
You Have
1 year of Enterprise Business Development or Sales Development experience, ideally with experience in North American markets
Mastery of at least one of the following tools; Salesforce, Outreach.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator or Zoominfo.
Speaks clearly and confidently over the phone
Efficient at researching technical people to deliver contextual emails and cold calls
Comfortable & confident engaging with very technical people
An insatiable level of curiosity and a constant learner
A great attitude and love for teamwork
A self-starter that thrives on surfacing ideas to solve challenges
Start-up experience desirable
Excellent interpersonal skills and self-motivated to build strong relationships and influence partner teams to drive projects to completion
Some technical knowledge, with basic knowledge of Micro-Services, Containers & DevOps highly desirable but not essential
Associates degree or equivalent
